Hello :)

Its Tuesday, April 3, 2007, and the time now is 12:33:00 PM.

God formed us; sin deformed us; but Jesus transforms us. :)

do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

I'm sure everyone has experienced their own share of disappointments in life. Disappointment in others, disappointment with themselves, or even disappointment in God.

Many a times, we ask ourselves,
"How can we survive when even those we love the most fail us, or when the God we trust seem to let the worst happen to us?"

In our struggles with disappointment, we often question God. We ask "why?", and we want answers.

But what we discover, is that God promises to give us wisdom, and not answers.

Life is a journey. It is a series of changes and transitions. It is a process of learning and growing through trial and error.

Journeys are seldom made without incidences, without occurrences that redirect our lives: detours, dead-end streets, accidents, weariness, traffic jams, or even getting lost.

Journeys include these interruptions, and so does life.

But one thing that doesn't change is that we never have to face a situation in life that is devoid of God's presence. He is always opening up fresh possibilities n the face of every difficulty.

And with Him, there's always a way out.

The important thing to remember when we meet with failure, disappointment, or even discouragements, is to hold on to our faith in God, and to keep our footing on the solid rock of God's unchanging love and His unfailing promises.

The way out of the dark pit of discouragement is not to put on a fake smile and pretend everything's okay. The way out is to look up nad pour out our hearts and our hurts to God.

" Come to the Father, Though your gift is small;

Broken hearts, broken lives,

He will take them all..."

God can do wonders with a broken heart if you give Him all the pieces.
